Melissa Peel Design offers an in-person or virtual consultation to understand a potential client’s aspirations, style and budget. She then provides a detailed proposal highlighting the scope of work she will do for the project to be complete.  

Melissa leverages her certified project management skills to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget and completed according to the design. After she sources quotes from generalcontractors/architects for renovation work, she will become the point of contact for any questions/issues/revisions that arise during the duration of the project. 

Melissa specializes in renovations including full design and project management of kitchens and bathrooms. Melissa provides layout and spatial planning which includes functional storage solutions. She offers in-house 3D renderings and elevations with fast turnaround for design revisions. Melissa sources all furniture, lighting, decor, and accessories to fit a client’s budget and style. Her design presentations include all fabric/wood/furniture/paint samples needed for visualization. Melissa also designs custom millwork and works alongside a fabricator for installation.

Pricing is determined by project time needed as well as the square footage and number of rooms. Clients pay a one-time retainer after a proposal has been accepted. Fees can be offered either hourly or flat rate based on a client’s preference. A percentage of trade pricing is passed along to the client.

Flat rate fees include purchasing, status management and tracking of orders, budget creation and maintenance, contractor coordination and project management, installation coordination, and direction on final placement of all pieces.
